Welcome to New Temple of Praise International Fellowship Church! It is my honor and joy to serve as your pastor. My prayer is that you experience God’s love, truth, and presence in every area of your life. This church is more than a building — it is a family of believers dedicated to worship, discipleship, and service.

About Pastor Sheila Phillips
An Anointed Woman of God
Prophetess Sheila Phillips is the anointed and duly appointed Pastor of New Temple of Praise International Fellowship Church in Houston, TX. Called by God and equipped through the leading of the Holy Spirit, she faithfully ministers the uncompromising Word of God with passion, love, and compassion for His people.
A Life of Prayer & Service
Pastor Sheila’s ministry journey began with years of faithful service alongside her late husband. As a devoted prayer warrior, she consistently lifted the name of Jesus, interceded for her family, and upheld the household of faith at the altar. Her life of prayer prepared her for leadership, and she continues to inspire the body of Christ to walk closely with God.
A Teacher & Preacher of the Word
Pastor Sheila is a gifted teacher and preacher who boldly proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is not ashamed of the Gospel, for she knows it is “the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes.” Her desire is to see every person saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, and strengthened in their walk with God.
Her Ministry Journey
For many years, Pastor Sheila faithfully served behind the scenes as First Lady, fulfilling her role with integrity and grace. She later stepped into her calling as Co-Pastor, never wavering in her dedication to the work of God. She founded the Women’s Ambassadors for Christ Ministry, teaching and encouraging women to hold fast to God’s unchanging hand.
After the transition of our beloved Apostle, God raised Pastor Sheila to lead New Temple of Praise into a new chapter. She now serves as Senior Pastor, carrying the vision and legacy forward with courage and faith.
Her Leadership & Impact
Pastor Sheila not only preaches and teaches the Gospel but also leads with action. Under her leadership, many projects, upgrades, and repairs have been completed on the church campus. She continues to move the ministry forward, building on the foundation laid before her.
Her heart’s prayer is that we may be saved, prosper, and be in good health, even as our souls prosper. Truly, God has given us a pastor after His own heart.

The members of New Temple of Praise celebrate and honor Pastor Sheila Phillips for her unwavering leadership and dedication. We know that the best is yet to come as God continues to use her to guide this ministry into greater purpose and destiny.

Pastor Shelia’s ministry is rooted in God’s Word and prayer. A scripture that shapes their calling is:
