A Diverse Church Family
Everyone is welcome at NTP.
At New Temple of Praise, we celebrate the beautiful diversity of Houston. No matter who you are, there’s a place for you in this family.
A Place Where All Ages Belong
From kids to seniors, you matter here. Whether you’re raising children, building your career, or enjoying your retirement years, NTP has ministries designed with you in mind.
A Church Rooted in Gods Word
The Bible is our foundation. We believe the Bible is living, powerful, and practical for today. Each message is designed to help you understand God’s truth in a way that’s easy to apply to your everyday life.
A House of Worship & Prayer
God’s presence changes everything. Worship is at the heart of who we are. From uplifting music to heartfelt prayer, our services create space for people to encounter God in a real way. We believe prayer brings breakthrough, healing, and fresh hope for every situation.
A Church That Serves the Community
Love is shown through action. We are passionate about making a difference in Houston and beyond. Through outreach events, service projects, and support for families in need, we show God’s love in practical ways.
A Mission to Reach, Restore, & Raise
Our calling is clear and simple. Everything we do comes back to our mission: to reach souls with the Gospel, restore hope to the broken, and raise disciples who will impact generations. We’re building the Kingdom of God, one life at a time.
Bridgette Rosborough serves faithfully as the Assistant Pastor of our church. With her thoughtful, steady, and detail-oriented approach, she helps keep our ministry organized and running smoothly. Known for her wisdom, compassion, and dependable spirit, Pastor Bridgette provides guidance and support to both the leadership team and congregation. She has a heart for excellence in ministry and a passion for seeing God’s people grow strong in their faith.
Dr. Deborah Britton serves as an Associate Pastor at our church and brings a unique blend of compassion, structure, and strong leadership. As a counselor at Lone Star Community College, she is dedicated to guiding and empowering others both academically and spiritually. With her analytical mindset and bold, visionary spirit, Dr. Britton provides wise counsel, encouragement, and direction for the body of Christ. Her passion is to see people live with purpose, walk in faith, and reach their God-given potential.
Le' Kendrick Williams serves as the Youth Pastor of our church, bringing energy, creativity, and vision to the next generation. With a heart for young people, he is passionate about building relationships, teaching the Word of God in ways that connect, and creating an atmosphere where youth can grow spiritually and personally. Known for his enthusiasm, leadership, and innovative ideas, Pastor Lekendrick inspires the youth to live boldly for Christ and discover their God-given purpose.
Prophets are individuals who speak forth God’s message with boldness and clarity. They bring encouragement, correction, and direction as led by the Holy Spirit. Their ministry often stirs the church to deeper repentance and faithfulness. Prophets remind God’s people of His will and help prepare them for His purposes.
“Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” — Amos 3:7
Elders are spiritual leaders who provide guidance, wisdom, and oversight for the church body. They help guard the doctrine and ensure the church stays faithful to the Word of God. Their role includes counseling, teaching, and setting an example of holy living. Elders are called to shepherd the flock with love and integrity.
“The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.” — 1 Timothy 5:17
Ministers are servants of the church who teach, preach, and provide care for the congregation. They are dedicated to equipping others for works of service and spiritual growth. Their responsibilities often include preaching the Word, leading prayer, and offering support during life’s trials. A minister’s heart is focused on serving God by serving His people.
“He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” — Ephesians 4:11–12
Missionaries are sent out to spread the gospel beyond their local community. They often travel to different regions or countries to share the message of Christ. Their work may include evangelism, teaching, church planting, and meeting practical needs. Missionaries embody the Great Commission by bringing God’s love to people everywhere.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19
Church Mothers are seasoned women of faith who provide wisdom, nurture, and guidance to younger generations. They are often prayer warriors and role models of godly living. Their ministry is rooted in mentoring, encouraging, and strengthening the faith of others. Mothers serve as spiritual anchors within the church family.
“Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” — Titus 2:4–5
Deacons are appointed to serve the practical needs of the church while supporting the spiritual mission. They assist with care for the poor, stewardship of church resources, and supporting the pastor and elders. Their work allows leaders to focus more on prayer and ministry of the Word. Deacons model humility and faithful service to the body of Christ.
“They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.” — 1 Timothy 3:9–10
